Image Loader

(Image Analysis Functions)

Image Loader has image processing and image analysis functions for electron microscope images and conversion functions from slice images (e.g. FIB-SEM) to 3D simulation files.
The image analysis function can analyze the circularity of the area and the distribution of particle size and particle area after processing and domain segmentation of the imported images.
In addition, multiple slice images can be converted into 3D data (UDF files) for simulations such as COGNAC, SUSHI, and MUFFIN. This makes it possible to use the microscopic structures obtained from the images for analysis, and to draw and analyze the interface of phase-separated structures of composite materials and polymer alloys with GOURMET.

Basic functions

  • - Image processing functions
Clipping, binarization, denoising, eroding/dilating, domain segmentation, etc.
  • - Image analysis functions
Circularity, particle size, particle area distribution, etc.
  • - 3D construction function from sliced images
Measured images can be used directly for simulation.
  • - Scripting function
Save and re-run recorded image processing using Python scripts.
